Illustration

I first took on illustration work in 2020 (having not picked up a pencil in decades) when a regular client requested illustrations for a church visitors' guidebook. As a result, my portfolio has a strong theological theme. Much of this work requires detailed illustrations. Other briefs require a more simplistic approach. I enjoy the challenge of adopting various styles.

I work in pencil, ink, watercolours and gouache. More recently, I have started using an apple pencil with an iPad Pro. This allows for more versatility and manipulation for digital-based projects.
