study.
Having studied at Norwich School of Art and Design (now Norwich University College of the Arts) between 2000 & 2003, I qualified with a BA Hons in Graphic Design.

I then made the move to the design world of London - and much tea was consumed.

collaborators.
When it comes to creating websites I collaborate with web developers. I design the front-end while the developer programs the back-end (much like a pantomime horse!)
I also collaborate with animators, illustrators and photographers.
approach.
A house style is something I work hard to avoid. What is suitable for one client is by no means relevant for another.
Each job is approached in a unique way; by searching for qualities within the company/name which in turn sparks a visual idea. The idea then usually informs which graphic style is employed for the job.
Whether the job in hand requires the design of a logo, website, advertising campaign or perhaps a rebrand, the course of my action is to thoroughly research the business to identify it’s personality - before putting pen to paper.
other work.
I play an array of stringed instruments and am an experienced composer & producer.
Within this site are examples of work for which I have composed and recorded the soundtrack for. As a multi-instrumentalist (including double bass, guitar, piano and the banjo) with a home recording studio facility I am able to provide an all-inclusive service for sound design.
